How to recover pen drive files using the command prompt?

We use pen drives to store, back up or transfer essential files like photos, audios, and videos. But the important data stored in pen drives are always prone to lose for various reasons. Some of them are accidental deletion, unintentional formatting, corrupted media, virus attacks or human errors.
We can use the below method to recover lost files from formatted, crashed or inaccessible pen drives.
1. Connect the formatted pen drive to your computer.
2. Open the command prompt.
3. Type the pen drive letter, E.g. E: , and press Enter.
4. Type attrib -h -r -s /s /d *.*, press Enter.
5. After a few minutes check the pen drive, and your files would be restored.
